ART \ WAR is a podcast featuring stories of the arts and culture movement that is redefining and shaping Ukraine's national identity. We are inspired by the artists of the 1920s and 1930s "executed renaissance" movement, who dedicated their lives to expressing Ukrainian identity even when it was criminalized by Soviet oppressors. Like those who came before them, today's Ukrainian artists have channeled the horrors of oppression and war into their craft. We aim to share their sounds with the world.
